It took me a year to finish one roll of film in my Holga 120N. Out of twelve shots, three - maybe four - are any good.I apologize for the crappy scan. The print does not have those horrible dust spots, but fixing them in Lightroom seems to take forever and I am lazy. Anyhow, what I notice about my Holga is that it doesn't have bad light leaks (yet) but there is some curviness in the lens. I

I took two cameras but my Lomo had a dead battery, so who knows how my slides will come out (in true Lomo style, I shot anyhow - colorsplash flash be damned!). It seems like ages since I've shot any Polaroids, so I went out and attempted a few over the weekend. I've gotten some decent shots with this cheap 600 camera, but I think I'm going to send it back to the thrift store and make the SX-70 my primary Polaroid. I hope this isn't too dark ... my scanner is not exactly top of the line. I like it even if it is too dark. This is from a day of experimental goofing off with a roll of Ilford SFX, which is pseudo-infrared film. I've been working on a five-photo project for school (illustrate a song with photographs) and I finally (almost) finished it tonight (I still have to nail down two of the photos - literally. An update on Chavo, who had been seriously injured subsequent to being hit by a car.He ended up losing a leg in addition to his tail. This was taken two days post-amputation. Poor little guy. He'd been through three surgeries prior to this one (in the span of about a week), and he was pretty well zonked on fentanyl and the after-effects of frequent anesthesia. He spent about a week just

My cat went out and got himself broken last Wednesday. Without going into all the gory details, I'll just say that at this point all I want is for him to stay out of the hospital and come home to heal. I miss him more than anything.
